Gibberish Premiere October 25th 2011

Jerry Dog Productions & YSP Media are pleased to announce the premiere of short film Gibberish on October 25th 2011. A comedy-drama written by Benjamin Hodge and directed by Felix Harber, Gibberish is the story of Dom, a young and determined city worker who begins to encounter a bizarre woman on his daily bus journey to work.
At first giving him the impression that she is raving mad and should be avoided at all costs, Dom soon begins to realise that she is nothing like he could have ever expected and might just show him that the world may not be as complex as he believes. A delightful comedy with heart and soul, Gibberish is the story of how a strange and unlikely friendship can prove that life is simple after all.
Gibberish stars Margaret Jackman & Ben Jewell alongside an excellent supporting cast and we are delighted that members of the cast will be in attendance at the screening as well as the crew. On the night we’d be happy to talk to anyone about the film after the event and a member of the crew will take questions following the film.
After wrapping production earlier in 2011, the film will screen for the first time publicly at the Derby QUAD as part of the Five Lamps Film Night on October 25th which begins at 8.3opm. A bi-monthly showcase of short films, we are proud to have Gibberish screen as part of this event and with the recent proposal of funding cuts to the QUAD and arts in Derby it’s more important than ever to support independent film in the region and nationally. For the first time in a while the event will be held in one of the main cinema screens and tickets are priced at £2.00.
