St. George’s Knights Powerchair Football Documentary Completed

Over the past few weeks, YSP Media has been busy working with Belinda Basson of Dreamfusion Productions to produce a short documentary on the St. George’s Knights, a powerchair football team based at the England training ground of St. George’s Park near Burton. The film was completed for the video content production website Genero’s brief for Unscriptd, a company involved in distrubuting inspiring and engaing sports stories online.

We received some fantastic support from the St. George’s Knights team, coaching staff and parents, with manager Warren Kelsall helping us create the final result thanks to his incredible enthusiasm to help bring the sport and team to greater awareness. The competition brief will be won by 6 filmmakers, with each receiving $5,000 for their film and it is our intention, should our documentary be selected, to donate our prize money back to the club to allow more players to get into this amazing sport. You can find the film at the website Genero here and we’d appreciate any support through sharing to help spread awareness.

St. George’s Knights are a team of inspiring young men who refuse allow their disabilities to prevent them from playing and enjoying sport. Powerchair football gives them ‘a level playing field’ and their courage, passion and competitiveness drive them to be the very best they can be.

A big thank you to all of the crew who helped make this happen and we look forward to helping the film and team reach as wide an audience as possible.
