As part of YSP Media's entry into Genero's Visit Britain competition, we took on the task of creating a wide ranging, all encompassing event film capturing highlights of the fantastic county of Derbyshire. Seven days of back-to-back filming saw director Christopher Bevan and producer Belinda Basson of Dreamfusion Productions head on a dash around some of the county's most memorable landmarks and local tourism hotspots. Just some of our fantastic locations and events included the iconic Chatsworth House, Bolsover Castle, the iPro Stadium, the Heights of Abraham and Matlock Illuminations. We were also treated to local hospitality in Ashbourne's Bramwells and Young Ideas designer fashion store along with restauraunts in Derby including the Cardomom Club, Fusion and Seven.

It was an eventful, hectic but rewarding week and we certainly had our eyes opened to the amazing delights on offer in the county. Royal Crown Derby and Denby also opened their doors to us and we're so grateful to them and so many others for getting behind the project. The film was entered into the Genero Visit Britain contest where the theme 'Sounds of Great Britain' helped us shape the edit, with the sounds of each location helping the smooth and energetic transitions around the county.

There's still so much more to see and we're hopeful we'll get to film more amazing locations some day soon.
